In a garden property, it would be done by breezeway. This keeps all the labor in the same general vicinity, as well, which makes things more efficient. The other benefit is once you have disrupted the residents in that floor / breezeway for that week, you will not have to be in their area again. The greatest benefit is the savings, which is in the 15-20% range easily.
